Home of the Sacramento Lions
The Sacramento Lions were formerly the CK McClatchy Lions. The team has a history of success in boys high school rugby in Sacramento. Their alumni have had success in college and international rugby. The Sacramento Lions is a pathway for our Motley Youth Program. The Sacramento Lions provides a high caliber club experience for high school aged boys in the Sacramento area.

We are currently forming our teams and are always accepting new players. Our practice schedule is Tuesdays / Thursdays from 4 to 5.30pm. The practice location is at St Patricks Academy 5945 Franklin Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95824 Enter from the north parking lot gate, the field is in the back.
I SRU Mission Statement
The SRU mission is to develop players with good character, integrity and discipline so they can find success on and off the rugby field. We emphasize developing a good work ethic in the individual that leads to success as a team.
